I just plane refused to listen
to romantic latin balladiers...The only one we had ever heard
in Spain other than Julio Iglesias, was the horrible "el puma".
Anyway, when I moved to the U.S, I was stuck in trafic one day.
My car stereo was jamming my tapes so I had to listen to the radio.
Since anglo stations were just playing the same old 4 tunes
over and over again...I switched to the latin stations. Well
this song came on and I was kind of making fun of it at first...
but since my hands were full driving, I couldn't change the
station. Forced to hear the whole thing...I thought to my self:
It wasn't bad at all. In fact, I usually don' care much for
the "male" voice, but Ricardo has the most beautiful clean
sounding male voice. Non of that "chest"-y voices we
get from the other men. The song itself is so elegant too.
The album that came out before this one had some killer songs
to: "Dejame llorar" (let me cry) and "En el ultimo lugar del mundo".
